Comedy of Errors

Synopsis

In Comedy of Errors, Syracusan merchant Egeon purchases a pair of identical twins, both named Dromio, to serve his twin sons, both named Antipholus. In a tragic shipwreck, Egeon loses his wife and two of the boys, one from each pair. Years later, Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant Dromio of Syracuse journey to the Greek city of Ephesus, not knowing that their long-lost brothers have been living there. As the locals – and their love interests – mistake the Syracusan twins for their Ephesian counterparts, a series of increasingly absurd and hilarious confusions occur.
