Bee Brown

Bee Brown is a freelance illustrator based in the heart of the UK. She has been drawing for as long as she can remember, and specialises in making vibrant digital artwork using lots of colour, texture and more recently, photographic imagery that she likes to collage together.

Her absolute favourite work is illustrating for children (especially the ones under 5), and loves dreaming up fun, emersive book concepts and engaging characters that might one day make it onto actual book shelves.

Since graduating with a BA in Graphic Design from the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, Bee has collaborated with all sorts of clients creating work for magazine editorials, books & activities, licensed products for the homewares & gift market and surface pattern for fabrics. She has worked with Campbell Books, Usborne Books, Parragon Books, Flame Tree Publishing and Thread and Ink Studio to name a few. She shares her home studio with her cat companion Minky, enjoys going for long walks and eating too much dark chocolate.

She is the illustrator of The World of Maurice and Muffin series by Campbell Books.
