Amitava Kumar
Amitava Kumar is the author of three previous books of non-fiction, a novel and a collection of poetry. He serves on the editorial board of several publications and co-edits the web journals Politics and Cultural. He scripted the prize-winning documentary films Pure Chutney and Dirty Laundry. Currently, he is Professor of English at Vassar College.
